Pool Season 2021 Begins
Good News! The New Carrollton Pool has passed the County Health Department inspection and is ready for FULL opening on Saturday, May 29th at 11:00 am. AND, for the first time in over a year… The baby pool will also be OPEN and fully functional.
The Board has learned that the County has not imposed mandatory restrictions to be in place to start the season, but could change if the County so advises. This means you do not have to wear a mask in our bathhouse or on the grounds. Mandatory six foot social distancing measures will not be in place, but we advise you to use caution. Of course if you choose to wear a mask that is entirely up to you, but it will not be required at this time.
Rules Changes
There will be a couple of things our members will need to do/comply with this year.
PHOTOS: We will be taking pictures of every person on your membership to put into our pool database, so we can monitor who enters and leaves the facility. The pictures will NOT be put on the actual cards this year, but the bar code will allow us to check and see if the person with the card is the actual member. Pictures will include everyone… adults and children….
GUEST LIMIT: Maximum guest allowed will be 10 per day per membership number (excluding those that have fan approved Party).
PARTIES: We will allow parties this year, but NO large parties will be accepted. You can download the NEW Party form HERE. Please note: Advance Notice and approval of a Board Member is required. Please read the instructions.
HOURS: Weekend/Holiday hours do not change, but from Tuesday, June 1st through Friday, June 11th, we will open WEEKDAYS at 4pm. On Monday, June 14th, we return to our normal hours weekdays, opening at 1pm.
A reminder… Things can still change. The County makes decisions and we abide. If you have any questions or problems, please contact one of the Board Members.
